Lord of the Rings Tours
Hobbiton is a charming and picturesque village located in the fictional world of Middle-earth, created by J.R.R. Tolkien. It is perhaps best known as the home of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins, the protagonists of two of Tolkien’s most beloved works, “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings”.
In “The Hobbit”, Bilbo, a hobbit, is recruited by a wizard named Gandalf to join a company of dwarves on a quest to reclaim their lost treasure from the dragon Smaug. Along the way, they travel through Hobbiton and encounter various challenges and obstacles.
In “The Lord of the Rings”, Frodo inherits the One Ring from Bilbo and sets out on a perilous journey to destroy it before it falls into the hands of the dark lord Sauron. Along with a fellowship of other characters, including Gandalf, Aragorn, and Legolas, they traverse Middle-earth, passing through Hobbiton and encountering a variety of fantastical creatures.
Hobbiton and the stories of Bilbo and Frodo have captured the imaginations of readers and moviegoers alike, bringing Middle-earth to life in a way that has resonated with audiences for generations.
